Leif Meche band (Laif Mesh) is a group made up of seasoned musicians from south Louisiana. These experienced musicians played in successful bands in the early 2000s. Their unique sound and live performance captivate audiences leaving them wanting more. The bands setlist has a combination of original music and covers ranging from rock, blues, country and soul. Leif Meche Band was the winner of the 2024 Eagle 98.1's Louisiana Battle of the Bands and opened for Kenny Wayne Shepard at the Baton Rouge River Center Theatre.
They are passionate about music and have influences ranging from all music genres, but their love for rock, blues, country, and blues is what shines out the most through their magnificent sound. They draw inspiration for their music from every aspect of life. Their ultimate goal is to ensure that the tradition and love of music continues in the next generation of musicians.
